Michael Boidy is a multifaceted director, producer, and cinematographer who skillfully captures the world both from aerial perspectives and on the ground.

His expertise in aerial cinema emerged in 2007, where he contributed to iconic TV shows like the Bachelor, Survivor, and National Geographic’s Great Migrations, as well as major events such as ESPN World Cup 2010 South Africa and US Open 2011. Having ventured to over 60 countries, Michael has filmed breathtaking aerials in at least 30, even documenting series like the Royal Tour featuring numerous Presidents and Prime Ministers.

Michael’s work has brought him all over the world, working for many of the top creative directors, producers, and agencies in the business.

In the past two decades Michael has been privileged to film aerials for many countries, working with presidents and prime ministers to capture breathtaking and awe-inspiring moments from both nature and the pulse of cities, as well as having interviewed numerous iconic artists and actors. Michael has been the director of photography and camera operated on a large list of commercials, shorts, TV, reality, documentaries, features and network series shows. 

Currently Michael is directing and producing a documentary series about the power of music and sound entitled Heart Beat.
